About the event

Professor Yingqi (Annie) Wei is Pro Dean for Research and Innovation at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, and has served as Co-Chair of the REF People, Culture and Environment (PCE) Sub-panel for UOA17. She is a scholar in international business with a strong publication record in leading journals such as Journal of International Business Studies and Research Policy, and has received multiple best paper awards and nominations. Her research has extensively examined the determinants and impacts of foreign direct investment (FDI). Her current work includes interdisciplinary research on multinational enterprises and sustainability, with a focus on eco-innovation and biodiversity, as well as policy-oriented studies on the institutional environment of trade and FDI. Annie has contributed actively to shaping inclusive and impactful research cultures both within the University of Leeds and externally through the networks such as Research Leadership Development Consortium and Cygna.
